All ends happily as the Mad Mangler is introduced to the modern washing machine and Levi’s bat poo solves Goldilocks baldness!

The Spud from Outer Space

This is a potato with attitude! It’s come from outer space and it’s landed in the council rubbish tip. It’s growing bigger by the minute and it’s looking round for things to eat. Only Cruncher, his grandad and a potato obsessed professor are around to stop it before it wipes out the human race. The bad news is that the crash has upset the rules of space and time and Silas Smite, the mad preacher, has been brought from the past to hunt down all potato lovers. The good news is that Grandad has a secret weapon: Gloria, the super bin van designed to collect space junk. It’s chaos out there expect anything!

Determined to find out who is behind the robots, Connor and his friend Simon track an injured robot to a nearby warehouse where they discover a mad scientist who has modelled the Nurse Bots on his old nanny a bully who obviously hated children. Can Connor and Simon outwit Nurse Bot and rescue Grandad? Yes, with the help of Simon’s sister did I say she was a were weasel?

Almost nobody knows that thirteen year old Firebird Tucker and her family exist. Firebird is not allowed to leave their wilderness swamp hidden from prying eyes by a massive billboard, not even to go to school. And she must never, ever talk to strangers. But suddenly, strangers are everywhere. And despite her family’s insistence that nothing can change, everything does. In the midst of the turmoil, Firebird finally finds what she’s been looking for a way out.
