Michael Jan Friedman Books Overview
A second original story based on the popular ABC television series places Lois Lane and Clark Kent, aka Superman, at odds with one another as they attempt to out scoop rival newspapers while keeping their relationship intact. TV tie in.
Batman prefers to work alone but the Justice League needs him to be a team player if they re going to keep the World Assembly meeting peaceful. With tensions simmering between two European countries, Batman follows his own instincts instead of working with the group. Hawkgirl demands to go with him, determined to help. But with two clashing styles of fighting, they re going to have to learn to deal with each other before they can save the world. And that might take more time than the World Assembly can spare.
Lawrence Talbot is the son of a family steeped in wealth and power. While on vacation in Europe his life was changed forever when he was bitten by a lycanthrope and cursed to walk the earth for the rest of eternity as an immortal monster driven by rage and an unstoppable hunger for human prey. No longer a man, not fully a beast, Talbot was one of the damned: a werewolf. After apparently dying at the hands of his loved ones, Talbot awakes in the back of a car hurtling down a deserted road, evading gunfire from another vehicle in hot pursuit. The driver of his car gets him to safety and informs him the persons following them are from a heretical cult dedicated to the extermination of all those marked by the sign of the Wolf. As Talbot places his trust in the hands of these new friends, an order whose stated mission is to protect werewolves, and learns of the origins of the werewolf curse, he slowly starts to realize that he is actually in more danger than he could imagine and that his saviors have evil intentions all their own for him.
The Ultimates the first government sponsored cadre of Super Heroes was assembled to face threats to humanity too insanely powerful forother operatives to handle.
Led by a general who gave an eye in the service of his country, the super powered roster includes a billionaire playboy in a high tech suit of armor, a World War II super soldier whom fate has thrust into the twenty first century, an environmentalist icon who claims to be an ancient Norse god, and a scientist whose mutant powers allow her to shrink to the stature of an insect.
But even the Ultimates are unprepared for a quintet of mysterious visitors who appear in the midst of the team’s top security base of operations, claiming to be emissaries from the future.
These ‘Tomorrow Men‘ say Earth’s civilization is at a crossroads on the verge of enslavement by a secret, immensely efficient organization known in the future as Tiber. Only the Ultimates have the skills and the firepower to ferret Tiber out of its nests around the world and crush its plans for global conquest.
But there is much more the Tomorrow Men will not say. After all, they don’t want to alter the timeline any more than they have to.
But wealthy Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, is dying by degrees of an incurable medical condition. For him, the temptation to make an additional change in the timeline may be too great to ignore though mankind’s future might be damaged in the process.

The Atlantic Paranormal Society, also known as T.A.P.S., is the brainchild of two plumbers by day, paranormal investigators by night: Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson. Their hair raising investigations, fueled by their unique abilities and a healthy dose of scientific method, have made them the subject of a hit TV show: the SCI FI Channel’s Ghost Hunters. Now their experiences are in print for the first time, as Jason and Grant recount for us, with the help of veteran author Michael Jan Friedman, the stories of some of their most memorable investigations. The men and women of T.A.P.S. pursue ghosts and other supernatural phenomena with the most sophisticated scientific equipment available from thermal imaging cameras to electromagnetic field recorders to digital thermometers and the results may surprise you. Featuring both cases depicted on Ghost Hunters and earlier T.A.P.S. adventures never told before now, this funny, fascinating, frightening collection will challenge everything you thought you knew about the spirit world.

For the first time ever, Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, founders of The Atlantic Paranormal Society T.A.P.S., share their most memorable and spine tingling early cases none of which has ever appeared on television. and much more! Jason and Grant didn’t always have the fancy scientific equipment and experienced team that fans now watch on their smash hit television show. As they share their hair raising first experiences, they offer essential tips for budding paranormal investigators including how to use an electromagnetic field EMF meter and an infrared camera, determine if a supernatural phenomenon is good or evil, and deal with spirits.
