Glenda is also a soap opera creator. Her claim to fame is that she created the first-ever weekly soap opera, Riverside, which appeared in The People’s Friend, the longest-running women’s magazine in the world.

Glenda Young has been commissioned by ITV to write TV tie-In books about the soap opera Coronation Street. She has also written major updates to Coronation Street: The Novel and Coronation Street: The Complete Saga. Glenda is a lifelong fan of the show and her work reflects her passion for it.

  1. I have only recently found GLENDA YOUNG’S books and I’m really enjoying them, such an easy read but once started difficult to put down.
    I’m waiting for A MOTHERS CHRISTMAS WISH. May seems quite a way off at th moment, Thanks Glenda
