    Cassidy is back after 4 years of college and is trying to get Colt's attention.

    She doesn't realize that she's had his attention for years, ever since her 18th birthday party.

    When Colt noticed her as a woman, not just his best friend's little girl.

    Now he wants to claim her and he's getting tired of holding back.

    An incident that happens while Cassidy is working gives Colt just the kick in the butt he needs.

    I loved reading Colt's point of view. How he tries to hold back and keep his desire for her under control.

    The two main characters have great chemistry. The sex scene is hot. Great build up.

    There is a little conflict between Colt & his best friend (Cassidy's Dad) but it doesn't last long.

    There are two epilogues, including an extended epilogue.

    i read this book as part of an arc program. This the older man/ younger woman romance between Cassidy and Colt. Cassidy returns home after college and she wants to get the attention of her father's best friend Colt. Cassidy has always had a crush on Colt and she knows she wants to be with him. Colt noticed Cassidy on her 18th birthday, but he wanted to wait until she finished college and returned home before he made it known she was his. Cassidy took a job at the local bar and when she was harassed by a couple of customers who were trying to take advantage of her, Colt came to her rescue and told her how he felt about her. Now Colt had to tell her father how he felt about Cassidy and hope for his blessing. I really liked this story. I love an strong older man who knows what he wants and will do anything to get it. Colt was so protective of Cassidy and he really didn't care if anyone approved. Another good one.

    This older man younger woman romance is hot. Colt is Cassidy's father's best friend who just so happens to be completely all in for her. When a group of rowdy men come into the bar and cause trouble for Cassidy, Colt comes to the rescue and tells Cassidy and everyone else that she is his now all he has to do is find a way to break the news to his best friend. This alpha cowboy will have you sitting high in the saddle ready to round up the next story coming from Ms. Ferrari!
