Dominic Hearst is a SEAL who has to leave his little mountain hideaway every once in a while when duty calls.     This is a short story, and yet pretty darn good. I have read a longer version of same theme…someone trying to break up happy loving couples. I must say, Jordan Silver does a pretty good job even in a fast read.
    The only glitch, we never really know why the culprit wanted to break Mady and Dom up. We get an idea, but even Dom thinks was a bit much.
    I really feel this could be made into a full length book, but as is it is a nice getaway with SERIOUS HEAT.
    Almost all from Dom’s point of view. I think only 1 and 1/2 chapters had Mady’s voice.

    Issue: Jordan Silver has one major flaw and its editing. There seems to always be incorrect word usage and missing words or words that didn’t belong at all. Interesting as sometimes the grammar is spot on.
    Also, serious usage of “F” word by main character. I know he is a SEAL and that often ya get a group of men together they use the word alot. However, from a girl with military family, the word is always cut whenever around a woman. It shows respect. Maybe trying that out would be an interesting point. But this is personal preference.
    It is the editing itself and lack of REALLY getting answer from the offending character as to reason a star is taken off.

    Dominic is definitely and Alpha Seal. When he comes home from leave to find out that there are rumors that his wife has cheated he goes on the war path of taking names and asking questions later. When it finally comes out that all is not what it seams he starts his plan to right the wrongs that were done and make things up to his girl. Love this Hot short story done the only way Jordan knows how. If you like or love any of her other books this one will not disappoint.

    Jordan Silver is one of my favorite authors & Betrayed is another winner in my opinion! Loved Dominic & his alpha ways! Also liked how much he loved Madelyn, even through the betrayal ( no spoilers here). Madelyn is sweet too & her love for Dominic is showcased quite nicely. Highly recommend this book, especially if you liked Dangerously in Love like I did! Looking forward to the next book from this amazing author!

    I really enjoyed this story. The husband goes over the edge with jealousy and the h has no real memory of what happened so she cannot convince him she did nothing wrong - she's not positive but knows herself and that she would NEVER betray her beloved.

    I wish the story had been longer and developed the characters more. I also REALLY wanted to see the person who set her up get what they had coming!!!

    Overall, a good read.
