This is a beautifully written story of loss, love, and hope. I loved every character in this book. Vannetta Chapman’s description of the garden made me wish I could actually visit there for a few hours. I’ve read many of Mrs. Chapman’s books, but this may be my favorite of all her stories to date. This is the perfect book for when you want something uplifting and encouraging to read. I’m hoping that the author will someday write a full-length novel about these characters.

This is a sweet, clean novel with no bad language or embarrassing scenes. I seldom give five star ratings to books, but this deserves that rating.

What a wonderful book about how two Amish women have so much love in their heats to help other Amish people who are less fortunate, who need help to get out of abusive situations. And one of the women finds love for the 2nd time. Easy read, one you do not want to put down. Vanetta' s Novellas are so easy yo bread, you feel as if you could place yourself right in the middle her book.

I really enjoyed this novella, and I wished it was longer. Despite the length, I loved the people in the book. Hopefully, the author will bring these characters into another of her Shipshewana stories.

I like anything written by Vannetta Chapman. Her stories are well-written and her characters fleshed out. I begin each book with anticipation and am never disappointed. When I read the last page I have a smile on my face, joy in my heart and a peace in my spirit. I highly recommend this author and her books.

I love Vanetta`s description s of county living and the garden. It brings back sweet memories of when we lived in farm country in western NY and had abundant produce from our garden, plenty to share with the rabbits.

Good story about how God provides healing from grief and sorrow to people when they live their lives with Him in control.
