About the Author
andlt;bandgt;Thomas Suarezandlt;/bandgt;, a resident of Hawthorne, New York, has been well known in the field of early maps for may years. He has helped create some of the finest collections of maps, both private and institutional, and served as curator for exhibits at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington D.C., the Addison Gallery of American Art, and Bristol-Myers Squibb Gallery.
